You can quickly grayscale your iPhone display by turning on a color filter under your Accessibility settings. If nothing else, using grayscale will help you keep off your phone at night near bedtime, and hopefully lead to better sleep. Slide the toggle to the On position, which will default to grayscale. From your Settings menu, find and tap on Accessibility. This is convenient for when you want a color screen to view a photo, but don’t want to leave it on all the time. The iPhone doesn't have a setting to turn on grayscale at a specific time like Android does, but you can manually turn it on by going to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Color Filters. You can use grayscale mode to save battery life. Grayscale mode can be less distracting and help you focus on the task at hand. Unlock your phone and swipe down from the top of the screen to display the quick settings panel. Turning your iPhone black and white is easy and switching back and forth is easy, too.
